It looks like Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2011 is going to be a complete software-release affair. A press release by the company has stated that it will unveil its next generation software -iOS 5, and iCloud, Apple's upcoming cloud services offering. Apart from these two, the keynote address at the conference will also introduce Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS X.
The major draw of iCloud service is likely to be the ability to sync files across supported devices wirelessly and The Wall Street Journalhas stated that Apple has reached agreements with Warner Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and EMI, and is expected to conclude a deal with Universal Music Group this week.
Rumors doing the rounds regarding iOS 5 is the system-wide Twitter integration and that it wonât be available for iPhone 3G or the second-gen iPod Touch users.
Those who were expecting the announcement of iPhone 5/4S are bound to be disappointed because there are no reports regarding the release of any Apple hardware at the WWDC.
