How to Switch back to the Classic Photo Viewer in Facebook

Though currently we don’t know how to completely disable that feature but there are a few tricks which we can use to switch back to the classic photo viewer of facebook .
  1. If you have already opened an image which loads in the new Photo Viewer you can just hit the F5 button to refresh the page and get back to the classic photo viewer .
  2. You can also right click  the picture and open it in new window to avoid opening it in the new viewer.
  3. Or you can delete  the ” &theater” part from the photo URL to avoid opening the photos in the new viewer .
All of the above tricks work perfectly fine for switching back to the classic view.Lets hope facebook rethinks on the new photo viewer and try and bring a better one next time around.

Windows 8: Build 8042 compiled

Windows 8, for the time being, is still in internal development. According to WinBeta, Windows 8 Build 8042.0.110707-1940 has been compiled. It is a Milestone 3 Build and was compiled on July 7th.
It appears that some of the features are broken, but in reality, have yet to be updated with the rewritten code. That code will get added in on a Win Main build. Instead, work is being done to ensure the promised new UI is fully functional. In fact, bugs are being fixed at an exponential rate. Neowin previously reported on a possible Community Technical Preview for Windows 8
It also appears that Microsoft is working on a ton of new Live services and integrating them with Windows 8. Windows 8 and Windows Live are not synchronized in terms of development. Windows Live is currently in a Milestone 2 coding phase, with Milestone 1 bits currently being deployed into Windows 8. The company is simply leveraging the code base of Windows Live to make things work in Windows 8. Retweet this button on every post blogger

Office 365 is now Available

Microsoft is launching Office 365 around the world, their first real attempt at tackling Google's online Apps. Office365 is a product that collides Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Lync online into one "always-up-to-date" cloud service, available as a monthly subscription.

Office365 allows businesses to access reliable email services that boast a 99.99% uptime, something that small businesses would find hard to match using in-house Exchange based systems. It also boasts full Lync integration, Microsoft's new messaging client that offers not only instant messaging, but voice or video calls, the ability to share screens and is able to communicate with conventional Windows Live Messenger users, all in one place. On top of this, web versions of Office are built into Office365, allowing rich document editing on almost any device.

Office 365 is officially out of beta and will be on sale to businesses. Plans start at as little as $6 per user a month. The high end plans (branded as "E" plans) include a subscription to the desktop version of office -- Professional Plus -- so that businesses don't need to buy licenses up front. The cheaper plans (branded as "P" plans) are basic, and include email services at the very least, with the options of adding Lync and SharePoint for users.

A trial is available for 30 days, free of charge at http://www.office365.com

WP7: Mango is now out for developers

Microsoft has been showing off Mango for its Windows Phone platform for several weeks. If you are a developer and you have been anxiously waiting to get your hands on the upcoming platform, fortunately, that wait is now over.
This is good news for not only developers but consumers in general. With developers now getting their hands on the new platform, it is one step closer to being released to the consumer.  Also, with developers getting a head start, applications that can utilize the new features should be plentiful in the marketplace when consumers do finally get their hands on the update.
For Microsoft, Mango is a big hurdle in not only getting the release pushed to consumers, but to also tilt the playing field in their favor. With increased integration with Bing and many other new features, Mango will help set Windows Phone apart from others in the marketplace.
Mango is expected to be released in September this year and brings 500 new features to the Windows Phone 7 platform, including Multitasking, IE9, OS-wide IM integration, deeper social networking and more.
